U.S. crude oil WTI settled 0.39% higher on Wednesday (Oct 2), after oil prices were supported by Israel's vow of a "painful" response to an Iranian missile attack. But gains were capped by a rise in U.S. crude inventories last week.
Kpler Agency's chief oil analyst for the Americas said the inventory data skews bearish, "in stark contrast to the current geopolitical backdrop that is driving prices higher today."
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery rose 27 cents, or 0.39%, to settle at $70.10 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Operation suggestion: The US oil daily maximum reached the position of 73.05 after the market pressure fell, the daily minimum to the position of 70.41 after the market finishing, the daily line finally closed in the position of 71.54 after the market with an upper line longer than the lower line of the long foot cross star shape closed, and such a form after the end.
Trading strategy: long near 70.7, stop loss 70.2, target 71.6-73.
