Got caught up in the battle trying to get the bounce on BRN which wasn't happening as we approached the end of the session with an average long at 1.733 the exit was slow and ended up having to settle for 1.68. NST from 8.72 to 875 taken after a sell off at 8.70 offered support interest started fading and 8.80 wasn't reached and got out on a pop and gold being flat after last night's break out also didn't support the long thesis today. FMG was a short attempt to start at 22.08 and 22.12 with vwap broken and support at 22.15 taken out, flipped this at 22.22 and 22.18 getting out at 22.33 near the close. Iron ore got a nice lift over night but that initial gap up on FMG with shallow pull backs had me on the side lines, US CPI is out at 00:30 Sydney time tomorrow morning and this could clear the way for a little more clarity as today wasn't an easy session.
