Currency call summary 11 08 2021: GBP pairs in focus today with the GBP sell trade possible after the US CPI data comes out tonight at 20:30 GMT+8 and price can get through 1.3840 with a 40 pip stop loss and 80 pip take profit. GBPJPY is a buying opportunity if price can get to 153.40 using a 40 pip stop loss and a 100 pip take profit. There is a focus on the GBP GDP release tomorrow at 14:00 GMT+8 (QoQ) (Q2) & GDP (YoY) (Q2) and if this exceeds expectations it's likely that GBP strength is likely. The EURGBP is offering selling opportunities if price can get below 0.8440 with a 30 pip stop loss and 60 pip take profit. The EURUSD sell trade taken yesterday has been added to with an entry at 1.710, stop loss at 1.1742 and the take profit at 1.6720.
